Jones was also part of the second team to win the 100-meter relay. Jones was the winner of the NCAA Indoor Hurdles contest in the years 2003 and in 2004. Jones has been training since 2005 when she graduated from her studies. She was the winner of two events, in the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track competitions in the same year.

Brandt was raised and born in Cape Town, South Africa. She emigrated from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens. Brandt was discovered in Auckland by casting directors, and was offered the role of Naevia on the Starz smash Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She was among the breakout stars for this series, working with Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi. Lesley-Ann Brandt is an South African actress born in Cape town on the 2nd of December, 1981. She is an accomplished New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt along with the other members of her family moved into Auckland New Zealand, in 1999. The first time she worked within Auckland as a retail store owner after which she was promoted to an IT consultant. Lesley began her modeling career after which she began appearing in commercials. She graduated in 2008 and finished her acting studies. After that, in 2009 she continued her studies with the Meisner method of study. Lesley Brandt had her first important acting role on the screen in New Zealand in TV Drama Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on New Zealand's TV drama Shortland Street as a second actor. In a later sci-fi arrangement This Is Not My Life she portrayed the city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a teen hostage and later depicts in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries.
