Yael is who is an Australian who lives in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael Stone graduated from NIDA. Yael, despite her young age, has had the chance to study with one of Australia's best storytellers. Yael enjoys a rich career working in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was delighted to find her new residence when Brooklyn Academy of Music, where the show played with critical acclaim, became her new home in New York City. Yael was co-founder of The Cannery. It is based within Bushwick Brooklyn and operates from there to support the creative process, and to create new writing.
